Welcome to EADA!

We start with a report on the IDSF World Ballroom Championship in Spain where George and Charlotte and Richie and Clara represented England recently. Thanks to Stephane for this report and the great pictures too!

Talking of pictures, do you remember this box?

InMotion
Our avid reader out there will remember this exciting photograph from when it first thrust itself onto the home page last year.

The box along with several others, contained InMotion - EADA's Newsletter. Well I am happy to report that boxes not too dissimilar to this one have now arrived containing the next issue of the magazine. Don't expect the Mag to flop through the post in the morning though. From here they need to make their way to our volunteer who will be stuffing them into envelopes, and printing off the address labels before looking down the back of the sofa for a few hundred stamps. But fear not - its on its way.

If you fancy yourself as a budding journalist, why not write up an article for the next issue? Get in touch with Rachelle publicity@eada.org.uk

Its been Emotional
You should recognise this:

This is the first E-newsletter we sent out -" E Motion". If you haven't had this in your email, there are two possible reasons; first, your mail filter is blocking it, in which case, tell your computer that "feedback@EADA.org.uk" is actually a jolly good chum and don't throw emails from him straight in the bin. The other reason may be that EADA doesn't have an up to date email address for you. If so, please let Pat know your email address, she can be contacted at membership@eada.org.uk and she will update our records. We hope to use email for more communication in future, but will be seriously hampered if we don't have correct addresses for you!

Supporters Club.
Both the newsletter, and the E-newsletter will be sent to our members and also these benefits go to members of the Supporters Club. For just £5.00 single or £7.50 per couple, supporters not only get this, but also they are entitled to the EADA discounts from various suppliers. Again, if you would like to join, Pat is the lady to contact. membership@eada.org.uk - you know the score.

Ricoh

Juvenile & Junior Training day

This Saturday saw the Juvenile & Junior Training day with the parents meeting crammed in for good measure. We hope to bring you a report on this event in the not too distant future.

Links
If you have a bit of time, have a look at the Links Page, we've been beefing it up a bit. If you have a web site, let us know about it and we'll include it in our members link page.

Horsham change of venue
I've been asked to remind you that due to refurbishment the next SNR III STD on the 18th May will be in a new place. It is at the Milais School in Horsham and is signposted along the A281 Brighton Road and is about 5 minutes drive from the Drill Hall. Start time is earlier at 10.30, see Dance News for details or call Jeanette Winter on 01403 268674

That's the lot for now.
If you have any info you would like to share with other EADA members, please get in touch!
