Constitution
After much deliberation, we have the makings of a constitution.
This is a draft document that
EADA is publishing so that you can have your
say before it undergoes another edit which
will
hopefully be its last before ratification
If you would like to know what changes
this will bring in the structure of EADA,
but don't want
to have to wade through
these books to find out, here is rough
guide to the changes.
Rules Rules Rules
We now have a new set of rules! One of these new rules
is that the rule book should be available
on the web, so here
it
is: Downlaod
here.
We also have the new set of rules for
National Selection Events that you

The Parents' Representative.
Manuel Silva has now been elected to the position of Parents' representative.
He will look after the interests of the
children and parents at EADA Council Meetings. The first term of office will
last until the AGM in November 2006. We wish him luck in his role.
Amateur Coaching Scheme
The
new EADA amateur coaching
scheme has been accepted by BDC.
We have a copy of the document, and as soon as we can get
it into electronic format we will give you more details.
Demonstrations
We would like to draw all amateurs
attention to the ruling regarding Amateur demonstrations. A document has
been prepared which will give you the actual facts, and dispel the myths that
are currently circulating.
Travel Fund
Any couples who
have contributed to the EADA travel fund and are going
to a recognised IDSF event, will be favourably considered
for help and are asked to apply. Please contact
David Corfield.
The EADA logo
Hopefully you'll have noticed the new EADA logo which is
now being used. We hope people will join behind the brand,
to present the
united family of English dance.
