Dance on TV

In the searing 32 degree heat of Nottingham, the days competitions got underway right on schedule. The competitors have to be commended for their dedication for dancing as I am sure that many of the spectators were ready to drop. The numbers in the EADA Junior 10 dance were a bit disappointing but the beginners, novice and solo dancers certainly made up for this.
It was a fantastic day which ran smoothly and on time, the talent was in abundance, and the atmosphere was relaxed. It has to be one of the most enjoyable competitions I have attended in many years.

Well done to Dianne Haywood for the brilliant running of this event and also to the judges (especially the men in those hot suits), who stood there all day and obviously enjoyed it as much as we did."
