Worcester

We all knew that today was going to be busy but to have 22 junior couples for the ballroom and 24 for the Latin event was fantastic. The kids came from all over the country, from Liverpool down to Bournemouth was covered and they were all ready and willing to compete. We also had the pleasure of some of our ex top juveniles competing in the junior events. This was great and reassuring that this age group will be well covered in years to come. They were confident and didn't look a bit out of place.

The organisation was spot on and all the kids had plenty of room on the floor to show their skills and passions for dance. It must have been a pleasure for the panel of Judges - headed by David Trueman - to be able to see all the kids and not just a sea of colour. It may have been pouring with rain and the thunder might have been roaring like a lion outside but from the cheers inside the spacious sports hall this could not be heard. The atmosphere was electric.

Our judges for the day were;
Lesley Dodd, Maureen Ford, Mary Richardson, Kevin Clapson, David Douglas, Derrick Squires and of course David Trueman.
