Parent rep Elections 2006/2007

The time has come for the Parents of our Junior and Juvenile Ballroom & Latin members to elect their new representative to the EADA Council. As I am sure you are all aware Manuel Silva was elected this time last year and his term of office was to run until the AGM in 2006. We are therefore looking for a new representative. To this end please read this short resume from Manuel explaining what this role entails. Should you wish to put your name forward for election you will need to be nominated by the parents of two other Junior / Juvenile members, should here be more than one nomination a postal election will take place with each family having one vote. The anticipated timetable is as follows:

• Election Papers dispatched 21st September 2006
• Voting Closes 21st October 2006
• Result announced Early November

New Representative effective 18th November 2006
