Transition from Over50’s to Senior II

The Senior II World Ballroom Championships will be held in Liege, Belgium on 20th October 2007. Selection of the team will be made from the Senior 2 chart after the event on 29th July 2007 in Liverpool.

In order to achieve a transition which is equitable to those who have danced in either the 2006 Over 50’s or the Over 35’s chart it has been decided that the only viable option is to commence with a new chart on 1st January 2007. Prior to the 29th July there are 6 events, this means that as at this date the best 5 results for each couple will be taken and the top two couples will selected to attend the World Championships in Liege

Latin
At present there is not planned a World Senior II Latin event, however for consistence a similar system will be used for the transition from Over50’s Latin to Senior II Latin and a new chart will be created on 1st January 2007.
