The programme that was filmed at Romford,Cheltenham, and Stockport, featuring Aarron Feeney is due to air on BBC2 on 11th April at 8am,it is approx 45 mins long.It is part of a week long series of programmes charting how children can do something totally different with their lives.

The programme is about a 12 year old girl, who has never done any ballroom dancing, Aarron, and a teacher (Anton Du Beke) have approx ten days dancing practice to get her ready to take part in a comp, completing 2 dances.

The programme, goes through all the run up issues, ie, routines, practices, clothes, makeup etc. To give background, the beeb filmed Aarron and his partner dancing in two comps namely Romford, and Cheltenham. The programme ends with Aarron and the girl (called Ijesh) competing at Stockport.

We all thank EADA for all their support for this project, and we also thank the organisers of the three comps that feature in the programme. The BBC have expressed a strong interest in doing a follow up programme with Aarron.

We also give thanks to Aarrons teachers for their unqualifed support, we can only hope that this exposure on a programme aimed at youngsters, can generate interest ,and encourage more kids to start dancing
