Stockport Town Hall was the venue of the 2007 City of Manchester Festival organised by Nigel & Janice Horrocks on Sat & Sun, 20 & 21 Jan 07.






On a cold Sunday morning Juvenile and Junior dancers from around the country, together with their families, gathered in this beautiful Ballroom Hall to take part on the EADA Juvenile Latin selection, EADA Junior Ballroom selection and the other numerous dancing events taking place all through the day.


The EADA Junior Ballroom winners were John Gianini & Steve Jones. The City of Manchester Latin championship winners were Lawrence James & Jasmine Chan.



Other Junior supporting events included the Open 2 Dance Ballroom won by Lewis Knaggs & Sophie Jones; the Open 2 Dance Latin won by Aarron Feeney & Clara Roy




and the 12-14s Ballroom & Latin events both won by Aarron Feeny & Clara Roy.



The Juvenile winners of both EADA Latin selection and City of Manchester Ballroom championships were Luke Miller and Charlotte Plant. They also won the open 2 dance ballroom and latin event as well as the open Vienesse Waltz & Pasodoble competitions.


There was lots of enthusiasm and energy from both Juvenile and Juniors dancers who captivated their audience with their great dancing.
