back to news Worlds Opening ceremony On Saturday 4 of August a group of young English dancers gathered at Leigh Ballroom in Eastleigh to take part in the rehearsals for the Showcase which will be performed at the 2007 WDC World Professional Ballroom Championships. This event is traditionally organised by Ballroom Dancers Federation every second year and takes place in the Famous Wintergardens Blackpool on Sunday of British National Championships weekend in November. This Showcase will be an Opening Ceremony for this prestigious event in the World of Dance and will feature some of the UK's top Juveniles, Juniors, Youth, & Amateurs.
